MF1 EVO D BLACK, MF1 EVO D TACTICAL GREY and MF1 EVO SP TACTICAL MUD are made of Böhler N690, hardened to 58 HRC for better balance between edge retention and strength; this type of steel is used for most of Extrema Ratio knives.
For MF1 EVO D BLACK SATIN M390, MF1 EVO D RED SATIN M390 and MF1 EVO SP BLACK M390 versions, Extrema Ratio uses 61 HRC heat-treated Böhler M390 steel; thanks to a powder metallurgical production process, it guarantees cutting efficiency, resistance to wear and oxidation over time.
MF1 EVO offers two blade profiles, each suitable for different contexts of use. The drop point blade is ideal for those looking for a versatile and precise knife, particularly suitable for urban and outdoor environments. Its balanced shape and rounded tip make it a good choice for everyday activities, such as cutting lightweight materials or handling small emergencies, ensuring a good compromise between robustness and manageability.
The spear point blade is particularly suitable for tactical environments, where high penetration and robustness are required. Its central and sharp tip makes it ideal for dealing with more demanding situations, where precision and control are essential for effective operation.
